Most parks have park specific
rules and regulations. When entering an area, you are responsible
for complying with the rules that apply. Check at the entrance
or kiosk for rules and regulations for each specific park.
Emergencies:
For a life-threatening emergency, call 911. The Ranger emergency
number is 310-456-7049.
Plants, Animals, Archaeological
and Geologic Features: These are all fully protected
by the law. Enjoy them, photograph them, but please leave
them undisturbed in the park.
Private Property:
Parklands adjoin private property. Cooperation of private
landowners is essential to the conservation efforts of the
Conservancy. Please respect their land by staying on designated
trails.
Pets and Recreation:
We recognize an important part of your outdoor experience
is to enjoy it with your pet. We want this to be an enjoyable
experience for you, your pet, and other park visitors. Pet
rules and regulations may limit where you may go with your
pet. Check at the park entrance or kiosk for specific rules

Equestrian:
Equestrians are encouraged to enjoy our parks. Please consult
the park entrance or kiosk for specific rules and regulations
regarding each park.
Biking: Bikers
are encouraged to enjoy our parks. Please consult the park
entrance or kiosk for specific rules and regulations regarding
each park.
For areas owned or administered
by the Conservancy, the following has been adopted:
Parkland closed sunset to sunrise
No smoking or fires
No alcoholic beverages
No littering or dumping
No unauthorized vehicle use
No defacing or destroying property.
These park rules may
be modified by signs at specific park locations.
